Srinagar: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the poor and needy people, Budgam police distributed 40 water purifiers and food kits among the poor and needy families of Khansahab area of district Budgam.
SDPO Khansahib Aftab Awan along with Dy SP DAR DPL Budgam and other officers held a distribution function in Khansahab area of district Budgam.
Ramadan food kits which include dates, vermicelli (sewaiyan), semolina (suji), dry fruits, etc and 40 water purifiers were distributed among poor and needy (BPL) families of Khansahab.
Budgam Police reiterated that Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured the participants that more such reach-out programmes shall be carried out in the district.
