Kupwara: A soldier sustained bullet injury after his colleague resorted to firing while observing some suspicious movement along Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Sources said that a soldier on guard duty at an outpost in Kupwara along LoC fired some shots after observing suspicious movement. They said that one of the bullets hit by the soldier on guard duty hit another soldier as a result he suffered injuries.
Sources added that the injured soldier identified as Jasvir Singh was shifted to Srinagar based Army Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred on Tuesday late night.
