Unauthorized Absence: DC Bandipora issues show-cause notice to RDD officers

B’Pora:Taking strong note of unauthorized absence from their duties during his visit to Block Office Bandipora today, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, has issued a show cause notice to Assistant Commissioner Development Abdul Rashid Dass and Block Development officer Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Kar for leaving the station without permission.
An official said the salary of the officers have also been withheld till further orders. The officers have been asked to submit detailed replies with proper justifications by tomorrow 11AM failing which disciplinary action as under Civil Service Rules shall be initiated against them without any further notice.
Sources in administration said that these officers left their station without proper permission. DC Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed instructed all the other employees to remain punctual to their offices and warned that no laxity on their part towards their duties will be tolerated.
He said the district administration shall take tough action against absenteeism to ensure smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people.
