Kupwara:The District Magistrate (DM) Kupwara, who is also Chairman District Disaster Management Authority Monday issued slew of directions to curb Covid-19 spike in the district.
The DM ordered that all shopkeepers of the district in general and shopkeepers/ drivers falling within the jurisdiction of Kupwara, Handwara, Trehgam, Langate and Kralpora markets in particular shall undergo Rapid Antigen Tests/ RT PCR with immediate effect.
All District and Sectoral Officers were directed to paste notices on the entry points in their respective offices stating therein that, ‘No individual shall be allowed to enter any Government Office premises without Covid-19 Negative Report’.
Chief Medical Officer Kupwara was directed to depute sampling teams to these markets for random sampling.
Executive Officers of Municipal Committees of Kupwara, Handwara and Langate were directed to inform shopkeepers and drivers within their jurisdiction for getting their sampling immediately.
