G’bal:In a significant Judgment, Judicial Magistrate Kangan, Kartar Singh Friday convicted four persons including Nominee of M/S Asian Lakes Health & Foods Limited, Ludhiana with a fine of Rs 6000 and imprisonment till rising of the Court under section 59 of Food Safety & Standards Act (FS&SA) -2006 in case of Food Sample of carbonated water, which was declared unsafe by Central Food Laboratory Kolkata.
Meanwhile, the complaint was filed by Food Safety Officer Kangan, Fayaz Ahmed Bhat on 2 April, 2014 and also represented the department in the Court at Kangan in the instant case.
