Kupwara:Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Irfan Sultan Panditpuri and Vice Chairman, District Development Council, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir Friday assumed their offices for functioning of the District Development Council at Rural Development Complex here.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din, DDC member Mawar, Khurshid Ahmad, DDC member Kalaroos, Ghulam Mustafa Deedad, DDC member Karnah, Najma, ADC Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, District Panchayat Officer and other concerned were present on the occasion.
The DDC Chairman and Deputy Commissioner said that both the institutions viz. Administration and Council will together work for overall development of the district. Earlier, Deputy Commissioner congratulated DDC Chairman and Vice Chairman for assuming the charge of their respective offices.
