Training prog on use of GPS devices in Forestry sector held at Kulgam

Kulgam: A daylong training programme on use of GPS devices in the Forestry sector was Monday organized by Special Forest Division Kulgam at Divisional Forest Office here.
Speaking on the occasion, the DFO Kulgam, Syed Waseem said that the objective of the programme was meant for acquainting the officials with the modern trends of managing the forests of Kulgam district.
During the training programme Divisional Forest Officer, Kulgam explained the importance of use of modern technology in forest management.
A detailed theoretical and practical session regarding the use of GPS was also held during the programme.
Meanwhile, all Covid-19 related SOPs and guidelines were followed during the programme.
