Tourism Infra Dev Projects in Bhaderwah to be expedited: Div Com(J) Stress laid on dev of roads to major tourist spots, early completion of tourism sector projects

Bhaderwah: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Raghav Langer reviewed the developmental scenario in Bhaderwah Tehsil, here at a meeting held on the second day of his tour to Doda district.
The meeting was attended by ADC Bhadarwah, Rakesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Bhadarwah Development Authority, Tehsildars Bhadarwah and Bhalla, DFO Bhadarwah, BDO Bhadarwah and BDO Bhalla, BMO Bhadarwah, Xen Irrigation, Assistant Executive Engineer PMGSY, Assistant Executive Engineer JPDCL, Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE, TSWO, ZEO Bhadarwah, besides officers of other departments and executing agencies.
At the outset, the ADC gave a brief account of the Administrative profile of Bhaderwah, besides performance of the various departments; the progress of ongoing works sanctioned and approved under different schemes which includes Languishing Schemes, Back to Village, MGNREGA, 14th FC. He also informed about the progress on All India institute of High Altitude Medicinal Plant, under AYU
The Div Com directed the CEO BDA to ensure the completion of all pending tourism projects well within time including roads to potential sites to attract maximum tourist footfall to boost the local economy.
The CEO BDA informed about the public demand for helicopter service to pilgrimage spots including Kailash kund and Mani Mahesh etc. and easy access for the tourists to the different high altitude tourist spots like seoj dhar.
The Div Com directed the ADC to conduct regular meetings to monitor registration of beneficiaries for Ayushmann Bharat PMJAY and hold weekly block Diwas meetings at different Panchayats to resolve the local public issues.
The Div Com further directed the executing agencies to devise the pert chart of all the ongoing works, while the ADC was asked to closely monitor the progress of each work on a daily basis for their timeline completion.
While reviewing the habitations lacking road connectivity, he asked PMGSY Engineers to formulate a comprehensive plan to cover these habitations within the current financial year.
The Div Com, while assessing the power curtailment and power requirement in the area, the Div Com directed the concerned to notify the curtailment schedule to get exact feedback about the requirement, besides he asked the project engineer to commission all the targeted sub stations by the end of June this year.
Regarding un-electrified villages the Div Com directed the ADC to pull up the concerned executing agencies and ask them to mobilise the men and machinery to electrify all the left out villages which is one of the top priority of LG Administration.
Regarding Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, the Div Com directed the concerned to take support from all the line departments, Arogya mitras and Asha workers to expedite the registration where it was low.
Moreover, the Div Com also reviewed the progress under PMEGP, My Town My Pride, Back to Village, PM Kissan, KCC etc and asked the concerned to make concerted efforts to ensure full implementation of these flagship schemes which aim at the individual as well as community benefits.
The Div Com further directed the officers of the line departments to make coordinated efforts to achieve the targets, and ensure a public delivery system in a more accurate and transparent manner.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner also met with several deputations and listened to their demands.
A deputation put forth their demand seeking better road connectivity, playground, public library, restart of mini secretariat work, water/ power supply and other issues of public concern.
The Div Com gave patience hearing to all the deputations and ensured them that all their genuine demands would be addressed on priority. The ADC Badarwah informed that most of the demands are under consideration and would get resolved under languishing projects, PMGSY, Jal Jeevan Mission and other such government funded schemes.
The Div Com directed the ADC to follow all the proposals which are already sent to the concerned departments and resolve these issues on priority.
