DDC members administered Covid vaccine shots at B’pora

Bandipora:The District Administration Bandipora on Monday held a vaccination drive for members of District Development Council, who were administered vaccine at designated vaccination centres.
The members were vaccinated as part of mega vaccination campaign in the district. The DDC members of Nowgam, Sumbal, Ganastan, Hajin-C, Arin, Gurez, Bandipora B took vaccination jabs at designated vaccination centres.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad said that there are total of 30 vaccination sites in the district and adequate arrangements has been put in place at all designated sites for successful vaccination programme.
Giving details, he said 964 persons received their vaccine jab Monday including 166 persons who received second dose Monday while 15462 persons has been administered this vaccine so far in the district.
He further informed that all protocols pertaining to vaccination and Covid-19 guidelines are being followed.
The DC appealed the general public above 45 yrs of age to cooperate with health department and get themselves vaccinated so that the disease will get completely eliminated.
