28th Annual Football championship: Lonestar KFC defeats Downtown Hero’s, JKSPDC XI defeats Hyderya Sports FC

Srinagar: In the ongoing Annual Football Championship, the remaining part (10mjnuts) of the match which was abandoned on 27th march 2021 due to poor visibility was played on Saturday between Downtown Hero’s FC & Lonestar KFC. The match ended with 1-1draw. The match was decided by tiebreaker in which Lonestar KFC defeated Downtown Hero’s FC by 6:5 .
The first match was played between Ag’s XI & Real Kashmir FC. The match started with both the teams playing offensive Football, dribbling, man to man marking & perfect ball control were the main features of the game. Real Kashmir FC defeated Ag’s XI by a margin of 4 goals to one. Through Ag’s XI tried hard to increase the margin to equalize but failed.
The second match which was the first quarter final of the tournament was played between JKSPDC XI & Hyderya Sports. It was in the 10th minute of the first half that Yasir of JKSPDC XI scored a goal. Immediately after Hyderya FC players put a lot of pressure on opponents & Noman made no mistake in equalizing the score in 15th minute the Ist half. Half time score was 1:1. The second half of the match saw beautiful moves from both the sides trying to find an a opening but could not break the Ice. The spectators enjoyed every movement of the game and appreciated the skill of both the teams. In the 75th minute of the match Yasir of JKSPDC XI converted a goal after a brilliant move made by their players and took one goal lead. JKSPDC XI consolidate their lead and defeated Hyderya Sports FC by 2-1 .
