Dhaka: Prime Minister NarendraModi, as part of his two-day visit to Bangladesh, met political leaders from a 14-party alliance along with the Convener.
The government, in a statement said the discussions that centred on diverse issues of bilateral relations were held during the meeting to strengthen ties between the two nations.
The Prime Minister arrived here earlier in the day on a two-day visit to take part in the golden jubilee celebrations of Bangladesh’s independence and the birth centenary of ‘Bangabandhu’ Sheikh MujiburRahman.
He was received by his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina at the HazratShahjalal International Airport, where he was accorded a Guard of Honour upon his arrival.
