Baramulla: IPS officer Rayees Ahmed Bhat Monday assumed the charge of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla.
When asked to comment on his new posting Rayees said the people of Baramulla should corporate with Baramulla Police to ensure the district remains drugs free.
” Let people inform us about anything wrong taking place, we will try our best to provide a better life to the people of Baramulla. People need not need to fear with police, except those who are going against law. Baramulla police will try to serve people in the district,”he added.
Rayees Mohammad Bhat AIG (P&T), PHQ was recently transferred and posted SSP Baramulla . He has previously held the positions of SSPs of Udhampur and Pulwama districts.
