Srinagar: In an unprecedented move the Jammu & Kashmir Government has appoint one of the junior most officers of the agriculture department K K Sharma as Director Agriculture Jammu and with this he has superseded nine Joint Directors far far senior to him in the department.
His appointment has come in for sharp criticism after a video his favourites beating drums in jubilation went viral on social media. For the first time in last seventy years any officer has been greeted by his employees by beating drums in his office chambers. The administrative department has come in for sharp criticism over it’s decision of appointing a junior officer as Director Agriculture Jammu. Despite repeated attempts Principal Secretary Agriculture did not respond to the phone calls from Kashmir Horizon.
