Jammu:K.K. Sharma Friday assumed the office as Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department Jammu here at Krishi Bhawan. He has served in the Department of Agriculture in different capacities including Chief Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Economist and Joint Director Agriculture (Marketing, Infrastructure, Post-Harvest Management and Farm Mechanization). He has vast experience as Deputy Mission Director Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna(PMFBY), Nodal officer CSS and incubator for Agri- entrepreneurship.
A Warm Welcome was accorded to the Director by the staff of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu besides various departmental Associations .
Later interacting with the Officers in the introductory meeting, the new Director Agriculture stressed on working with full dedication, discipline and professionalism for welfare of Farming community.
