Budgam: Police in Budgam have solved a theft case by arresting an accused person involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property.
A police statement issued on Wednesday said that on March 16 this year Police Station Chadoora received a written complaint from Syed Intikhab son of late Mohd Saeed resident of Madina Colony wherein he stated that an unknown masked person holding a knife entered his house and looted some cash from the house following which a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Chadoora and investigation was taken up.
Stating that acting swiftly on the complaint, a police team arrested the accused person identified as Uzair Khan son of Mohd Ayoub Khan resident of Madina Colony Kralpora, Chadoora and on his disclosure recovered stolen cash and knife used in the commission of crime from his possession, Police in the above referred statement said that the accused person has been shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody
