DC Rajouri reviews functioning of Rev deptt

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan Wednesday took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the Revenue Department here at a meeting.
The meeting was attended by the ADC Rajouri, Sher Singh; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; SDM Thanamandi; Zakir Hossain; ADIO, Ashwini Sharma; Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars.
While speaking at the meeting, the DC directed the concerned revenue officers to remain stationed at their Headquarters and ensure regular monitoring of the developmental activities being carried out in the areas of their respective jurisdictions. The officers were also directed to pay regular visits to the Government offices in their areas to make sure that these institutions are running properly.
The DC asked the Revenue Officers to ensure the timely disposal of the PSGA cases to provide necessary benefits to the common masses. He directed them to submit the report of the genuine cases under FRA in their areas and prepare a comprehensive record of all the correspondence with the office of the Deputy Commissioner, besides ensure smooth delivery of the public services.
The DC also directed the Revenue officers to expedite the process for timely completion of the vital tasks pertaining to their departments like writing of jamabandi, attestation of mutations, writing of Girdawaris etc.
Meanwhile the Additional District Informatics Officer, Ashwini Sharma also imparted the necessary training to the revenue officers about how to effectively operate the Bhumi Suraksha App which will be launched shortly in the district.
The App is an initiative of the District Administration Rajouri to seek the information about the encroachment on Government property, illegal earth cutting, forest encroachment and forest cutting etc
