Srinagar /March, 17: Aijaz Ahmad Khan the President Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Employees Association and Chairman Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) on Wednesday welcomed the posting of Zubair Ahmad as Commissioner /Secretary Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Khan said the posting of a senior KAS officer Zubair Ahmad known for his integrity and honesty as Commissioner Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) is a welcome move and both Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Employees Association Kashmir and as well as Employees Joint Consultative Committee (EJCC) hail the government for taking a right decision at the right time. Hoping that Zubair Ahmad would address better the key issues of FCS&CA department particularly delivery of ration to 1.19 lakh souls across Jammu and Kashmir Khan extended fullest cooperation of the employees of FCS&CA department to new Commissioner Secretary in discharge of his duties and delivery of ration at the doorsteps of the people in both Kashmir valley and as well as Jammu division. Khan also exuded confidence that Zubair Ahmad will take all necessary steps to restore the pristine glory of FCS&CA department.
