G’bal: Ganderbal Police submitted charge sheet in case FIR No 199/2020 of Police Station Ganderbal.
A police statement issued on Thursday said “the charge sheet has been filed in case that pertains to the incident dated 14th September 2020 when Ganderbal Police along with 05RR busted HM module and arrested 3 militants associates identified as Arshid Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Altaf Khan resident of Wayil Wudder, Majid Rasool Rather son of Ghulam Rasool Rather and Mohd Aasif Najar son of Abdul Razaq Najar, both residents of Beehama Ganderbal for hatching a conspiracy for militant acts, harbouring militants and giving support to the proscribed terrorist organisations”.
Stating that investigation conducted revealed that the arrested trio had came into contact with a Pak based Kashmiri militant namely Fayaz Ahmad Khan son of Abdul Dawood Khan resident of Gutlibagh and were being handled by him from across to take up various militant and subversive activities in the district, the police in its statement said “ after conclusion of investigations, necessary Government sanction was obtained and accordingly chargesheet has been filed before the Competent Court by Ganderbal Police U/s 7/25 IAA, 13, 18, 20, 23, 39, UA(P)A against four accused persons”.
