Arrangements finalised for Mega Legal Services Camp at G’bal

G’bal: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal Tuesday convened a meeting of officers to finalize arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of Mega Legal Services Camp to be organized at Mammer, here.
During the meeting, it was revealed that the Mega Legal Services Camp shall be held at Rest House JKTDC, Mammer by District Legal Services Authority Ganderbal in coordination with District Administration and Police on 13th of March, 2021.
On the occasion, threadbare discussion was held regarding the arrangements to be put in place at the venue like security, availability of uninterrupted water and power supply, healthcare, cleanliness at venue, traffic management, seating and other related arrangements and all officers/officials of the departments were briefed about their role and responsibilities during the camp.
EO Municipal Council Ganderbal was directed to ensure that the venue and the adjoining area is fully cleaned and sanitized two days before the date of programme and thereafter some persons be deployed there to keep constant vigil regarding cleanliness till completion of the programme.
The DC directed all the departments to install their respective stalls at the venue prior to the proposed date for raising awareness to the participants/visiting people about their welfare schemes, programmes by distributing pamphlets and for their registration in genuine cases.
He directed the concerned to ensure availability of disposal masks to the visiting public and to make arrangements for hand sensitization and thermal check of the people entering the venue so that Covid-19 SOPs are maintained.
On the occasion, DC directed the concerned to ensure all the necessary facilities are put in place well in time at the venue for successful conduct of Mega Legal Services Camp.
Later, at the same meeting the DC also reviewed the arrangements put in place for the celebration of Nowruz in the district. The concerned officers were directed to ensure availability of uninterrupted water and power supply, healthcare, cleanliness, essential commodities especially in Shia dominated areas.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ASP Ganderbal, SDM Kangan, ACR, CPO, CMO, Executive Engineers of various departments, DIO, CAO, AD Fisheries, AD, FCS&CA, Tehsildar Kangan and other concerned officers.
