Jammu: In the ongoing 28th Annual Football Championship 2020-21 two pre quarter final matches were played Monday at GGM Sc College Ground. The first match played between J&K Police XI & J&K Bank Academy, Jammu proved to be an exciting and a thrilling match. It was J&K Police XI who opened an account in the very Ist minut of the game, Bank Academy boys tried hard to score level but failed. J&K Police doubled the lead in the 84th minut and maintained this lead till the final whistle . Final Score was J&K Poliice XI- 2 & J&K Bank Academy- 0
The 2nd match was played between NGR FC & Young Rovers FC Football CLub. Both the teams exhibited quality Football. In the 30th minute of the Ist half Young Rover FC scored the Ist goal and doubled the lead in 78th minut. NGR FC scored lone goal of the match. Young Rover FC won the match by 2 goals against one.
MR. Moon Stephen former National Footballer was the Chief Guest on the occasion and was introduced to the players. JKFA Members also present on the occasion.The Tournament is organized by JKFA and sponsored by JKSC.
