Hakeem urges for adequate arrangements for ensuing Meraj ul Nabi (PBUH) , Shivrari festivals.

Srinagar: Chairman People’s Democratic Front, Hakeem Yaseen has urged the LG administration to make adequate arrangements for smooth celebrations of ensuring religious festival of Shabi Meraj and Maha Shivaratri in jammu and kashmir.
According to a statement issued here on Sunday Hakeem Yaseen has urged for making adequate transport arrangements and availability of essential comodities at reasonable prices for both Muslim and Pandit brethren across jammu and kashmir. He said in view of the prevailing scarcity of mutton in kashmir, administration should arrange buffer stocks of fish and vegetables both in all towns and villages in addition to srinagar city so that people do not put to inconvenience. He said these reverred religious festivals are the hallmark of our centuries old brotherhood and communal harmony adding that kashmiryat was is incomplete without coexistence of Muslims and kashmiri pandits.
PDF Chairman has asked the administration to ensure round the clock drinking water and electric supply besides cleanliness and sanitation in and around all mosques and Temples especially in kashmir for convenience of devotees.
Hakeem Yaseen has also urged to put in place adequate transport facilities for ferrying devotees to and from Dargah Hazratbal and Jamia Masjid to celebrate Meraj ul Nabi ( PBUH) festival.
