Srinagar: Congratulated the pass outs of class 10 examination Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has termed the better than average result as an exemplary show of hard work and dedication by the schools in both private as well as government sector.

The Association said that students in Kashmir have been hit hard by the situation since last so many years but despite so many problems they never let go of the dream of education. “On one hand the situation is not ideal for the education and on the other hand our students and schools are determined to make the best out of limited opportunities. In the end it is our collective effort to pursue education that prevails. Today’s result vindicates our relentless work in the field of education,” said G N Var president PSAJK. “Despite facing hardships the result is for all to see. Our private schools have yet again come out with flying colours.”

The Association also termed the improved result of government schools as a step in the right direction and hoped such results will continue to improve. “Government schools have also put on a commendable show. There are teachers in these schools who are dedicated, hardworking and want to contribute to the society. We salute those teachers and administrators. Ultimately the good results of government schools helps the society and us too,” said Var.

The Association said that the department of education is also doing its best and private schools are more than willing to help them in this regards in whatever way they can. “No doubt the department of education is trying hard to improve education but unfortunately the system is in such a mess that it will take time to improve. We are always ready to work in public-private partnership to expedite this improvement,” said Var. “Our main goal is to provide child centric education with continuous teacher trainings and accountability. The government schools are more than welcome to replicate our successful model so that no student is denied the basic quality education.”

The Association also appealed the students who didn’t qualify the examination not to lose heart. “Success and failure is part of life. The only thing matters is how much hardwork you have put in. If not this year then next year. Students who didn’t pass should take this time to double the hardwork for future,” said Var.
The association appealed parents and teachers to positively counsel the students
