B’Pora: A girl from Sonerwani area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora has secured 99.6 percent marks in the matriculation and is among the toppers of Kashmir valley.
Daughter of Medical Assistant, Aveena Nisar, (16) got 498 marks out of 500 and has become the first student from the Bandipora area who topped the matriculation result declared in February, on the grade system basis.
Aveena was studying in Space Age School Bandipora, where she completed her 10th among the toppers of the valley, with “many dreams in her mind.”
While talking with reporters Aveena said that “I am thankful to my parents, Teachers and specially my grandfather Gh Qadir who helped me in securing first position in the district. I feel proud as I am getting appreciation from everyone here, which inspires me more.
With COVID-19 also playing a spoilsport, Aveena said that she self learned and prepared her lessons on the internet as she didn’t have a tutor too.
Aveena said, “I am very happy to top this examination. I want to become a good doctor to serve my people. I don’t have a brother, that’s the reason, my papa always treats me as his son, which helped me to achieve this feat,” Aveena said.
Aveena further said that she was “always studying with positive intentions in all the situations” which proved successful.
While giving a message to the young generation of Kashmir, she said that “Everyone must chase their dreams with positive intentions in their mind, which will help them a lot literally.”
His parents also expressed happiness and said that they both “wish to see her shine always.
