Kulgam: A group of 25 famers proceeded on one day tour to different Agricultural institutions, flagged-off the District Development Commissioner, Kulgam, Mr Showkat Aijaz Bhat Thursday.
During the day-long tour these farmers will visit KVK, Pombay, Paddy Research Center Khudwani and Hi-Tech Poly-tech Green houses at Kilam.
The tour has been organized by the Department of Agriculture Kulgam to make these farmers aware about the latest agricultural activities and to have scientific know-how for hybrid vegetation and better Agriculture production.
While interacting with the farmers the DDC stressed upon them to take full advantage of the tour by discussing with the experts the latest trends and knowhow about the innovative techniques of farming.
Present on the occasion were Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Agriculture Officer and other Officers.
