Kulgam : In order to impart training to Sarpanchs, Panches and Pani-Samitis, Jal Shakti Department Kulgam Thursday organized a day long program here at conference hall Kulgam.
During the program the experts gave a detailed presentation about the procedures including checking the water quality.
The Program was attended by DDC Chairperson, and other DDC members, BDCs, Sarpanchs and Panchs besides Xen Jal Shakti Department Kulgam and other Officers of the department.
Later the District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat along with District Development Council, Chairperson Mohammad Afzal distributed water testing Kits among the PRI members.
The Deputy Commissioner also highlighted the importance of conservation and preservation of water and other resources and stressed to make judicious use of water.
