Sopore Police facilitates Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting

Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was conducted by Sopore Police at Dalri Rafiabad in the jurisdiction of PS Dangiwacha. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other Covid protocols.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Rafiabad Nissar Ahmad and was accompanied by SHO Police Station Dangiwacha. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens, Sarpanchs and Panchs of the area. During the meeting, the participants raised various issues including non-availability of potable water and electricity, maintenance of roads and drains, non-availability of Headmaster at Government Middle School Dalri, non-availability of Ration Depo, etc. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
While speaking on the occasion, SDPO Rafiabad said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support for better policing and would be conducted in the future as well. He requested the participants to cooperate with the Police on every front so that the crime is eradicated within the society.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely.
