Srinagar: Shopian Police under the aegis of civic action programme distributed tricycles among the specially-abled persons at DPL Shopian.
SSP Shopian Amritpal Singh inaugurated the distribution event besides, DySP Hqrs Shopian, DySP DAR Shopian were also present on the occasion. Tricycles were distributed among the specially-abled persons of district Shopian who are not able to stand on their legs by some natural cause or due to accidents.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Shopian said to the participants that they must be confident and enthusiastic to run shoulder to shoulder with other people of the society on equal lines.The main aim of these activities is to bridge the gap between police and public and to strengthen the police-public relationship, besides providing helping hand and support to the needy.
