DLSA Poonch holds an awareness prog

Poonch: District Legal Service Authority organised an awareness programme on topics scheme with special reference to acid attack survivors and rape victims. This programme was conducted at Boys High School Purani Poonch.
The prog was organised under Project Access to justice phase-2nd, under the guidance and direction of Madan Lal, Chairman District legal services authority Poonch and under the supervision of secretary DLSA Mr. Wajahat Hussain Kazmi Poonch.

In this programme about 80 students and other Staff members of the School participated.On this occasion Advocate Bhanu Partap the resource person while speaking through light on Basic of Scheme with special reference to Acid attack Survivors and rape victims. Advocate Tahir Mehmood Qadri also spoke on the Occasion . The Staff of DLSA Poonch, PLV’s were also present. During the awareness programme light refreshment was also given to the students.

5 Municipal Councilors from Chadoora join JKAP, Manhas welcomes them into party fold

Srinagar:A delegation of Municipal Committee councilors from Chadoora on Friday joined Apni Party at the Party office in Lal Chowk Srinagar.

The councilors who joined Apni Party included: Nasir Ahmad Dar, Shubeena Nabi, Fareeda, Zahoor Ahmad Mir and Mohammad Aslam Wani.

The joining ceremony took place in presence of Apni Party Vice- President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, State Secretary and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-din, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh and District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor.

Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Zaffar Iqbal Manhas urged the new entrants to serve the people at their council level selflessly and resolve their grievances on prompt basis.

“Jammu and Kashmir region has from past many years seen a developmental regression and to address that Apni Party is committed to work for the people, highlighting their grievances and making avenues to resolve them accordingly,” Manhas said.

The new entrants from Chadoora council thanked the Party leadership for providing them with such a platform and avowed to strengthen the party at grass root level.
