Shopian: – District Development Commissioner Shopian, Shrikant Suse Friday felicitated Sqay Martial Art students from Shopian who have recently excelled at state level championship and qualified for national level competition.
On this occasion, DDC distributed sports kits to 20 state level champions from Shopian district and scholarships from Department of Youth Services & Sports, Shopian to eligible students.
Speaking on this occasion, DDC complimented hard work and talent showed by Sqay Martial Art students at different competitions at state, national levels and assured that administration is committed to encourage sport cultures among youth of district by strengthening sports infrastructure.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr Abdul Aziz Sheikh, District Youth services & Sports Officer Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta were present on this occasion.
