Dr Sudhan discusses renovation work plan for Chopra Nursing Home

Jammu: The renovation work plan for Chopra Nursing Home was Thursday discussed by Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal Govt. Medical College and Associated Hospitals, here at a meeting.
The meeting decided that XEN Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical shall submit the DPR within a week. It was informed that the tenders have also been floated for the execution of the work.
Meanwhile, the Executive Engineer, Mechanical submitted the DPR of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh Hospital to Principal GMC & AH. It was decided to improve the High Dependency Unit (HDU) by way of new flooring and allied mechanical works and to connect existing emergency with upcoming emergency.
It was also decided that a team of officers shall visit different hospitals, hostels and report any encroachment so that the same can be communicated to revenue department for the eviction proceedings.
The meeting was attended by Nagendra Singh Jamwal, Administrator GMC & AH; Dr. Dara Singh MS, GMC; Sonia Vaid, Deputy Director Planning and XEN Mechanical, Civil and Electrical.
