Bandipora: Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles Battallion alongwith Career Park Trust under the Government Scheme of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojna organised a large scale career counselling and employment mela.
In a statement issued on Thursday Army 13 RR said “Youth from all over the AOR including the remote areas of Aragam, Ajas, Sudar Kote Bala, Hajin, Manasbal and Shahgund very enthusiastically participated in the mela”.
The statement said that in the first phase held on Thursday at Shahgund, registrations and information on skill training for three portfolios were provided, adding that after selection as part of the second phase the selected candidates will be conferred with free accomodation and messing during training.
Stating that on successful completion of training confirmed placements will be offered, the army’s 13 RR in the above referred statement further said “ this overwhelming participation is a true indicator of the Badalta Kashmir”, adding that “youth participated very actively and positively and thanked the unit for their relentless, continuous, Innovative and consistent efforts”.
The statement further said “appreciations were also recieved from respective area Sarpanch, Maulvi and Elders from the community”, adding that “ a total of 367 youth had participated in the mela”.
