Kupwara: To lend a helping hand towards the public of Mawer valley during the harsh winters in the area, Naugam brigade launched an outreach initiative to the hundreds of poor and weaker sections of society by the name of “Humanity on Wheels” during these testing times of a global pandemic and unforgiving winters, where life comes to a standstill, there are a lot of people who are deprived of even basic necessities of livelihood.
In a statement issued on Wednesday the army’s Nowgam Birgade said “the initiative is taken to reach out weaker and the most vulnerable sections of society, who need r helping hand and care in the best possible manner”.
Stating that the locals responded with a grate reception of the Armed forces which signifies the deep bond that both share, the army’s Nowgam Birgade in it’s statement also said that these initiatives go a long way in not just supporting the ones who need support and care, but also develops and nurture the bond of love and mutual respect that the Armed Forces share with the local public.
