Jammu: As many as 60 youth were Wednesday selected for job here at one day job fair organized by Himayat Mission Management Unit (HMMU) J&K.
Competent Synergies- a leading provider of inbound and outbound contact centers and BPO services in India-, in collaboration with various Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) were the participants.
The jobs offers were provided to the youth from various PIAs, who completed their trainings in BPO courses like customer care executive and customer support representative under Himayat-DDUGKY programme in J&K.
Chief Operating Officer, Himayat, Kapil Sharma felicitated the selected candidates by distributing ‘job intent letters’. They were selected during interview by Competent Synergies-a national employer in BPO sector.
This job fair was intended to facilitate the placement of trained and under-training youth, in the age bracket of 15 to 35 years, under central Government scheme – Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY)- HIMAYAT.
The participating agencies like Doric Multimedia P. Ltd., Intelligence Manpower P. Ltd., ICA Edu skills, Don Bosco Tech P. Ltd., Sidh Trading P. Ltd., Orion Edu Tech, ITRC Technologies and Manpower Group Pvt. Ltd. lauded the efforts of Himayat Mission Management Unit for conducting such events, which are fruitful in uplifting the economic condition of youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
The COO Himayat urged the selected youth to commit to the placements so that the other youth also come forward to secure job opportunities outside their homes for better future.
“One of our most important initiatives is to leverage the training, knowledge and expertise of candidates, who are about to enter network of professionals in private sector,” the COO Himayat at the valedictory address to the selected candidates.
