Sopore Policeman returns lost amount to the rightful owner

Sopore: In a gesture of humanity and honesty, a Policeman from District Police Sopore handed over an amount of Rs. 15,000/- to the rightful owner which he found in Sopore area.
A Policeman namely Ishtiyaq Ahmad, PSO to DySP Sopore Muhammad Amin found a cash amount of Rs 15,000/- in Sopore. Accordingly the said Policeman uploaded a post on social media regarding the matter and requested the general public to share the post till the information reaches the rightful owner of the said amount.
After the post went viral, the information reached to the owner who contacted the policeman regarding the amount lost in Sopore. He was advised to the reach the office of DyS P Sopore Muhammad Amin for collecting the said amount.
Subsequently, the owner reached to the DySP’s office and after proper verification the said amount has been handed over to the owner in presence of Dy SP Sopore. The owner of the amount thanked Sopore Police for displaying honesty.
