Samba: Ten shops constructed over 3 kanal encroached temple land were Monday demolished and another 15 Kanal land retrieved here at village Ghagwal during an anti- encroachment drive launched by district administration Samba, under them supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria.
The shops were illegally constructed over 3 kanal land of Narsingh Jee Temple. Another 15 Kanal encroached land was also evicted during the drive.
The anti encroachment team was led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma.
The team pressed in a JCB machine and demolished the concrete structures including shops, pavements, RCC structures and other temporary structures.
Tehsildar, Ghagwal, Raman Chalotra, SHO, Inspector Kuldeep Raj besides revenue officials and J&K police were also part of the team.
