Srinagar: Police on Sunday recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, including five grenades and a pistol, from a shop in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
Official sources said that following specific information about the presence of arms and ammunition in the shop, security forces raided the establishment at Sangrama in Baramulla. “During the checkpoint, police recovered five hand grenades, a pistol and 20 rounds from the shop,” they said.
They said a case has been registered and investigation has been initiated into the incidents. “Security forces could make arrests in the case in coming days,” they added.
