Sopore Police facilitates PCPG meeting at Police Post Watergam

Sopore: As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was facilitated by Sopore Police at Police Post Watergam while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
According to a police statement issued on Saturday the meeting was chaired by In-charge PP Watergam Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad. The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of Ladoora, Marazigund, Chatloora and Tragpora areas.
Stating that during the meeting, the participants raised various issues including drug abuse, non-availability of drinking water and electricity, the police in it’s statement said “ the chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal”.
Police in it’s statement also said that participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social evils.
