Dr Tasaduk conducts live health awareness session

Jammu: Kashmir-based physician, educator and columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo on Wednesday evening conducted a Facebook Live session on health awareness for public health.
The session was conducted under the health awareness initiative of the Medical Foundation launched recently. During the session Dr Tasaduk talked on many health issues of public concern and stressed on the need to create awareness regarding health issues. He covers many health topics like mental health, lifestyle diseases including others and highlight their causes and prevention.
Talking about the rising incidence of sudden unknown deaths(presuming as sudden cardiac deaths) in Kashmir, Dr Tasaduk said that it has become a major health concern in Kashmir nowadays — needs thorough research and proper investigation at the ground level. He stressed that Government should establish a panel of medical experts to thoroughly study and ascertain the possible cause of such deaths. The session was attended by larger audience and they asked various questions on multiple health issues– that were answered by Dr Itoo.
