Jammu: Principal Government Medical College Jammu and Associated Hospitals, Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma Wednesday reviewed the covid 19 situation with Medical Superintendents and HoDs.
After threadbare discussion, the meeting decided to de-reserve some designated Covid wards in view of reduction in the number of Covid positive cases and resultant decline in covid admissions and handover the same to the Department of Ortho, Department of Surgery and Department of Medicine.
It is expected that the decision shall go a long way in improving non covid patient care.
The Medical Superintendents have also been advised to provide sufficient para-medical staff for optimum use of non-covid wards and all other attendant medical infra.
