Jammu: In consonance with the National Education Policy-2020- which envisages to blend the Vocational training into the school curriculum, Directorate of School Education Jammu conducted a workshop on Mushroom Cultivation at Girls Government Higher Secondary School Kishtwar.
Around 80 students and local unemployed youth participated in the workshop which was conducted by District Nodal Officer, Humaira Ayoub,. Principal of the School Kishori Lal was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Humeera Ayub, a lecturer in the School, gave both theoretical inputs as well practical demonstration to the participants after which a question answer session was held, wherein all the queries raised were satisfactorily addressed to.
Director School Education, Anuradha Gupta, in her message said the Directorate is continuously reinventing itself and trying to reach out to every single student through innovative solutions. She assured that more such workshops and programmes will be held in the future for the benefit of the students and unemployed youth in particular and the society in general.
