72nd R-Day Parade: JKP Pipe band bags Ist position, JKAP women contingent II and distt police Jamu 3rd, DGP congrats them

Jammu/Jan,26: On the occasion of 72nd Republic Day Parade at Maulana Azad Memorial Stadium Jammu, Jammu Kashmir Police Pipe Band, contingent of District Police Jammu and JK Armed Police Women contingents brought laurels to the organisation by securing top positions during the Parade.
The Director General of Police Dilbag Singh congratulated all the contingents. While appreciating them the DGP said that the performance of these contingents shows the dedication and discipline of the force in every field. He wished all ranks, families of martyrs, retired police personnel a happy Republic Day.
During the 72nd Republic Day Parade Tuesday Jammu and Kashmir Police Pipe Band led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Abdul Ahad stood first amongst the bands from the participating forces while Jammu Kashmir Armed Police Women contingent led by DySP Mansha Beig and District Police Jammu contingent led by DySP Priyanka Kumari stood 2nd and 3rd respectively in the general parade category.
