Srinagar: A delegation of Corporators of SMC led by Deputy Mayor, Srinagar Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri met members of Parliamentary Standing Committee headed by T.G. Venkatesh, Member Of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Chairman Parliamentary Standing Committee Transport-Shipping-Civil Aviation- Tourism & Culture who are on official visit to the Kashmir Valley.
The delegation led by Deputy Mayor, Srinagar put forth some vital core concerns of the general masses before the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for their intervention and kind consideration. The vital core concerns included
1.Conveying necessary instructions to the Higher J&K UT Administration to consider/ease issuance of necessary permits/building permissions for construction of multi-storied Hotels/Malls at tourist attractive destination of the Kashmir Valley particularly on boulevard Road from Dalgate to Harwan Srinagar which are known as tourist attractive spots of the Srinagar City.
2.Conveying necessary instructions to all concerned Airline Heads to maintain reasonable fare rates throughout the year for general public which are hiked during inclement weather conditions in the Kashmir Valley.
3.Conveying necessary instructions to the Airline Heads to schedule daily flights from Srinagar to Leh for convenience of the general public which mostly remains cut off from the rest of the Country during inclement harsh weather conditions.
