Awantipora: Awantipora Police provided helping hand to people who got stranded on roads due to inclement weather while travelling at NHW Lethpora, Khrew, Tral, Awantipora and Pampore areas. Police in a statement said
A police statement issued on Saturday said “Special Police Assistance Teams have also been deployed at various locations especially on Highway for providing assistance to the vehicles stuck on the slippery roads”, adding that “Awantipora Police has already established helpline numbers operative round the clock for any assistance to the needy. Also Whatsapp number (7051404001) and facebook page ‘Awantipora Police – Kashmir’ are available for entertaining any help request.”
