DDC Kupwara inspects various ongoing developmental works

Kupwara: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din Tuesday inspected various ongoing developmental works in Kupwara. He was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; Executive Engineer R&B Division Kupwara, Gurdev Singh.
The DDC inspected ongoing construction work on Lolab Parallel Bypass road which is being constructed at a cost of Rs.220 lakh and expenditure of Rs.68.68 lakh have been incurred on it so far.
At Zangli, the DDC inspected ongoing works on Span Truss Girder bridge and Indoor Sports Complex being constructed at a cost of Rs.165.46 lakh and Rs.100 lakh respectively.
On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned engineer to gear up the pace of work and ensure completion of the project within the stipulated time frame.
Earlier the Executive Engineer informed the DDC that an expenditure of Rs.39.20 lakh on Girder bridge and Rs.40 lakh on Sports Stadium have been incurred so far.
