Daylong seminar on ODOP held at Kulgam

Kulgam: A daylong seminar on One District One Product (ODOP) was Tuesday organised under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat by Area Marketing Office, Kulgam in association with Govt. Degree College, Kulgam here.
On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon the youth especially the outgoing students to adopt the One District One Product scheme and be job providers instead of job seekers.
Principal Government Degree College Kulgam Abdul Rehman Najar while addressing the participants stressed upon the self employment rather than seeking a Government job.
Area Marketing Officer Kulgam, M A Khan, gave a PowerPoint presentation on ODOP and other schemes of the department.
The program was attended by the Lead Bank Manager Kulgam, representatives from Horticulture, Agriculture, State Livelihood Mission and members of Fruit Association Kulgam in addition to the faculty members and students of the college. The program was also attended by a large number of participants virtually on YouTube.
