Army holds creative art, drawing workshop at Aragam

Bandipora/Jan,17: Indian Army’s 13 Rashtriya Rifles (3 Sector) stationed at Aragam Bandipora Sunday organized a creative art and drawing workshop in collaboration with the Sigma Art Gallery with an aim to provide a platform to the young minds to showcase their talent.
An official said the aimed at reaching out to the young population in the remote areas of the Aragam village. “The motive was to flare up the artistic skills hidden in these remote regions and to tap the young talent that can become framework of modern art and culture suitably blending with the heritage and culture of this region”.
The event was conducted at village Chanpal and more than 50 contestants participated. Locals complimented Artist Inderjeet, Founder CEO, Sigma Art Gallery, Delhi and Vinita Sharma, Event Organizer for having such a beautiful insight in bringing this initiative to remote areas and upper reaches of Bandipora district in collaboration with Army and giving these young buds equal opportunity to evolve into capable artists.
