Bandipora : A day long Training Programme under Forest Rights Act (FRA) was Thursday conducted at Gurez. The main aim of the programme was to provide detailed training under FRA 2006 to Forest Rights committees.
Speaking at the occasion, Block Development Officer Gurez Imtiyaz Ahmad said that the aim of conducting training program is to strictly follow the timelines of the training schedule and to ensure thorough awareness of the Forest Rights at ground level. The training session was held for the Forest Rights Committees of Block Gurez and Bagtore. SDM Gurez, BDO Tulail and SDPO Gurez also interacted with the participants.
