Shopian: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Choudhry Mohammad Yasin Thursday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review progress achieved under Capex Budget and Back to Village (B2V) programs here.
On the occasion, DDC reviewed physical and financial achievements of R&B, PHE, KPDCL, Education Department, Health, RDD, Youth Services & Sports, Sheep Husbandry and other departments under district plan.
He also held detailed discussion on implementation of other development schemes.
The DDC stressed upon the Officers to accelerate the developmental tempo across the district and ensure speedy construction of all ongoing developmental projects.
He directed all officers, field and technical staff of Rural Development Department and others concerned to ensure the best material is used in all developmental works to maintain quality standards.
DDC while exhorting upon the concerned officers to work proactively to attain the desired results asked them to report the latest status of development works being executed in the district along with photographs.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Director Planning, S.E Hydraulic, District Statics & Evaluation Officer, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Information Officer, District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Ex. Engineers of R&B, PHE, KPDCL, Assistant Commissioner Development, Block Development Officers, Block Manager NRLM and other concerned.
