Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch,Rahul Yadav on Tuesday convened a meeting to review the arrangement to put in place for ensuring Republic Day Celebrations 2021 in the district.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Mohd. Rashid Chowdhary, SSP Ramesh Angral, ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain, CMO, G.A Malik, DPEO, DPO, Israr Ahmed, District Culture Officer, Dr. Alamdar Adam, DYSO, Qasim, Executive agencies of different departments, AD Food and other concerned officers were present.
The meeting was informed that the main function will be held at Sports Stadium Poonch while similar function will be organised at all Tehsil/ Sub- Division and also informed that the Full Dress Rehearsal shall take place on January 24. DC stressed upon the Officers to ensure hassle free arrangements for smooth conduct of the National Event and instructed them to follow the timeline for ensuring arrangements well in advance and also directed them to follow protocol of COVID-19 strictly and ensure use of masks in the function.
The Police department was entrusted with security arrangement and the Information department was asked to arrangement of Public addressing System and media coverage of the event. Other arrangements including refreshment, arrangement of cultural Programs, barricading, seating arrangement, Commentators, decoration etc were also discussed in detail.
