Bandipora: Several departments which include Labour department and Rural Engineering wing department in North kashmir’s Bandipora who are headles from the past Thirteen days showing non seeiousness of government for filling these posts.
The administrative work of both the departments has affected due to unavailability of the officers. “For a single signature, labourers are seen in queues in labour department in mini secretariat Bandipora, which is adversely affecting the labourers, employees and smooth functioning of the department.
In absence of an administrative head in Rural Engineering department, the routine work of the department had come to a “standstill”, locals said. For a single signature we have been visiting here and are waiting from last thirteen days, they said. The absence of a Xen REW also affected the functioning of the office, an official said. He alleged that nobody was paying heed over the matter and smooth functioning has hampered.
Meanwhile an official of department said that the vacant post had “exposed the non-seriousness of the department in filling of the key positions which play an important role on the ground level in the department. Locals appealed Divisional Commissioner to look into the matter and take appropriate steps to redress the grievances.
